Your Boudoir Experience

A boudoir session is not an everyday thing, and it is totally normal to have questions. That is what I am here for.

Booking your session

Whether this session is a gift, a celebration, or something you are doing just for yourself, you are welcome here.

Boudoir sessions come from all kinds of reasons, and you do not need to arrive with a specific goal or a big story. If something is pulling you toward this experience, that is enough.

I would love to chat, answer your questions, and help you think through what feels right for your session, including wardrobe ideas if you want them. You do not need to have it all figured out before we talk.

I am here to guide you through the process so it feels comfortable, supportive, and honestly, a little fun.

Jennifer works with a limited number of clients each month to keep every session intimate, unhurried, and completely personal. If you are feeling the pull, this is your sign to reach out.

Pre-Session Guidance

A little planning ahead goes a long way and makes a real difference in how your images turn out. It does take some time on the front end, but it helps everything feel easier and more relaxed once you are here.

Before your session, we will send you clear guidance on how to prepare, including what to wear, what to bring, and how to get ready. You will also receive a lingerie guide to help you narrow things down without feeling overwhelmed.

You do not need to figure it all out on your own. We will walk you through it step by step.

Arriving at the Studio

When you arrive for your session, I will give you a quick tour of the studio and we will take a look at the outfits you brought. If you are unsure what to choose, that is completely normal. Bringing a few extra options is always a good idea.

We will go through everything together and narrow it down to the three outfits we will photograph during your session.

And remember, boudoir does not have to mean lingerie. You are welcome to bring a mix of pieces like tanks, jackets, sweaters, jean shorts, button downs, or anything that feels like you. Accessories are always encouraged.

Hair & Makeup

Carolyn is our in house hair and makeup artist and is usually the first face you see when you arrive at the studio.

She will welcome you in, get you settled, and help the space feel comfortable right away. There will be music playing, and often a mimosa waiting for you if you would like one. It is all meant to help you ease in and feel at home.

After a short consultation, Carolyn will work with you to create a look that feels like you and fits the direction of your session. The focus is not on changing your appearance, but on enhancing what already feels like you.

Carolyn has an easy way of connecting with people and helping nerves fade. By the time hair and makeup wraps up, most clients feel relaxed, comfortable, and ready to step in front of the camera..

Your Boudoir Session

It is completely normal to feel a little nervous when you arrive. Most people do. You do not need to know how to pose or what to do.

I will guide you through the entire session, from how to stand and where to look to the smaller details like hand placement and posture. I pay attention to angles, lighting, and positioning so everything feels flattering and natural.

Once we get started, most clients find that the nerves fade pretty quickly. After the first few images, the session starts to feel easier, more relaxed, and honestly, a little fun.

Your Artwork

I’ve chosen a small collection of quality products designed to showcase your images in a way that feels timeless and intentional.

Whether you are drawn to a classic little black book or one of our ICE albums, your photographs are meant to be enjoyed, revisited, and kept. These pieces are designed to hold your images beautifully and in a way that feels right for you.

We will go over all of the options together during your viewing appointment so you can choose what fits your style and how you want to enjoy your photos.

Viewing Your Imagery

One of the benefits of this experience is that there is no waiting or wondering about how your images turned out. You will view your photographs the same day as your session.

After we finish shooting, we will take a short break while I sort through your images and narrow them down. Then we will sit together and choose your favorite photographs for your album, wall art, or collection.

Once your order is selected, your images move into professional retouching. Each photograph is carefully refined and prepared before being sent to our professional print lab for production.

Everything is handled with care, from selection to final delivery.
