FAQs

How many sessions do you book each month?

I only photograph one boudoir session per day and take on a limited number of clients each month, usually around five. This lets me give each session the time, attention, and care it deserves.

Nothing about this experience is meant to feel rushed. From planning and preparation to your photoshoot and same day reveal, the focus is on giving you a calm, personal, fully guided experience where you can actually breathe and enjoy it.

Does every boudoir session include hair and makeup?

Yes. Professional hair and makeup is included with every Coffee & Boudoir session and is provided in studio by Carolyn, our hair and makeup artist.

Carolyn’s role is to help you feel comfortable and put together before your session begins. The focus is on enhancing what already feels like you, not changing your appearance or over styling.

Hair and makeup is part of the experience and is designed to help you ease in, relax, and feel ready to step in front of the camera.

I’ve never done this before! What do I wear?!

Do not stress over this! We are going to photograph you in 3 different outfits and you can wear anything… or nothing at all! I’ll be emailing you with more in depth information on this, but start simple : Bra & panty sets, t-shirt and panty, your favorite team jersey, your favorite dress. You don’t have to go all out and buy a bunch of things you’re not going to be comfortable in unless you want to push those limits! I have a few studio pieces including our BEAUTIFUL Blush Pink floor length wings, the SUPER SEXY short black wings, a couple shoe and jewelry options.

I don’t know how to pose sexy!

This is one of the most common questions, so take a breath. You do not need to stress about this.

We will photograph up to three outfits during your session, and those can be anything that feels like you, including nothing at all if that is something you are comfortable with. There is no right or wrong choice.

I will send you more detailed guidance before your session, but starting simple is always best. Things like a bra and panty set, a t shirt and panties, a favorite jersey, a dress, or something you already love in your closet work beautifully. You do not need to buy anything new unless you want to.

You do not have to have it all figured out ahead of time. We will take care of it together.

I’m so nervous… is this normal?

Yes. Feeling nervous is completely normal, especially if this is your first boudoir session. It is a vulnerable experience, and that makes sense.

From the moment you arrive, the focus is on helping you feel comfortable and at ease. We will take our time, ease into the session, and create a relaxed environment where you can settle in.

Most clients find that once things get started, the nerves soften quickly. You are guided through every step, and nothing is rushed. You do not need to feel confident when you walk in. That part usually comes later.

What should I expect before, during, and after my boudoir session?

Before your session, I’ll send you guidance on what to wear, how to prepare, and what to bring so you do not have to figure it all out on your own.

On the day of your session, you’ll start with professional hair and makeup in the studio. Once you’re ready, I’ll guide you through posing, expression, and movement from start to finish. You do not need to know how to pose or how to “look sexy.” That is my job.

After your photoshoot, you’ll view your images during your same-day reveal and choose the albums, wall art, or image collection you love most. Once your order is finalized, your images and products will move into the editing and production process.
